Eric J. Marsh, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the American Society for Mohs Surgery and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. He provides care for conditions of the skin, hair, and nails with a focus on the detection and treatment of malignant and pre-malignant skin conditions. He has experience in treating thousands of skin cancers.
A native of Chicago, Dr. Marsh graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana. In 1993, Dr. Marsh accepted a commission in the United States Navy as a Medical Officer.
After receiving his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Illinois at Chicago Dr. Marsh completed an internship in general surgery at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center in Virginia.
He pursued further specialty training in dermatology and Mohs surgery at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, graduating with honors. Having completed 14 years of military service, Dr. Marsh is pursuing a full-time civilian career in Lake County. He is happily married to Lena and is the father of six children.
He lives in Libertyville and is an active member at Lakeview Presbyterian Church in Vernon Hills.
